Mikey Ojeda | Making the Most of Every Opportunity and Embracing Your Differences
Mikey Ojeda is the founder of Bleach Design Werks but much more importantly is one of my closest friends and a constant inspiration. This episode is beyond special to me because we captured such a magical moment of inspiration in a time of our lives with so much growth and excitement. We need a Simon pt.2 🔥🔥🔥
That guy has nothing to do with Punk
i love that he fits with the cothe
Amazing to see you interact with Seth. I’m sure this happening was a wonder for your heart. Well done on your growth and perseverance
Thanks guys! That was a very informative interview. As a young Toronto band in the Hard Rock/metal genre, it is a tough go up here. Having had a successful run with John 5 through TKO in the US northeast, we can totally see our target audience is down in the USA and look forward to the release of our new album 'Dead Memories'
This was a great interview. Love Hail, Seen them so many times live. Still have my signed copy of wake.
Oh my god, Set it off is the worst band ever. Saw them at swan fest, It was like jock jams from the 90's.
RIP Jon, sadden to hear the news
Great interview…44 is so talented
Fatse ❤❤❤❤
Genuinely awesome, both the the interview, and the two entities involved. Plan to look into Andrew’s other pod’s and have no change in plans to be an appreciative fan for Lauren. A joint thanks to you both, if you haven’t heard it lately, thanks for all you both do. It’s all contributing to more positive impacts in our shared existence than negative ones. Keep tossing those happy pebbles in the pond of life!
This should have more views this was a good interview
I always luv how I see him featured on so many songs like Sewerperson - "Highway", ISAIAH - "3Nights" and Flowars - "Blood Sucker".
luv guardin
Good stuff!
Good conversation. Nods to the power of letting go of the wheel and just following the path. The more you chase the bumpier the road becomes.
You asked great questions! I loved the overall positive energy of this podcast
Pls dont promote tattoed boys..pls come to pakistan i give u a goat and one piece on land...cum now
Great interview! I think a LOT of people, like me, found out about Myrone because of Drift Stage and to this day those songs are incredibly well received on Spotify. Glad he doesn't feel bad about the whole thing, as I think it's done a lot of good for him.
Thank you for filming this. Super insightful!
I love it that you hate that pos town almost as much as I do!!
I laughed so hard when he was talking about mark writing the email. “I hope that we can kiss”
Watching this three years later, but really enjoyed it. Great job and very cool to see seemingly good people succeed in the field <3
Can confirm that he is an awesome man, as is bandmates. Lot of time for fans
This was super cool thanks for filming this.
Is there another interview in which he states why he let go of GOD’s hand?
Very late to this so glad you did this interview. I've been a long term narnia fan for awhile!
Fatse i really like his music when i first got into him in 2018 and i didnt get to hear more from him until 2020 then 2021. He is one of my favorites with Nothing, Nowhere. Smrtdeath, Cold Hart, Drippin So Pretty, Summrs, Lil West, Lil Xtra, Bad Neighbors, Lil Lotus. ❤💜💕
8:24 - just had to pause and say how much I appreciate this interview so far. Edit: I typed my whole life story about how I got into music but I remembered I’m trash and plus it’s too long. Anyway, moving the backstory! Mac Miller was my biggest inspiration. Had a bet with my friends that if I ever got to make a song with him, I’d start smoking again lol. But then he passed not even a month later. Still feels unreal
Shit, buy an apartment complex Guaranteed to make money Gatta make sure ppl don't steal though Ppl steal
U need to train them dogs They're clueless Well they're too old Get pups (non purebred aka non inbred) n train from the ground up. Take a class
Nice work. Great interview. FIDLAR !!!
This was awesome bro well done, I’m a few years late but definitely the best interview I’ve seen w shini. You actually asked questions I’ve always wondered that other people haven’t really gone too much depth into when it comes to interviewing shini. I’d love to see a part 2!
I love savage gasp sm istgg
54:38 100% and that goes back to people teaching themselves by trying stuff out, watching videos, reading. A person teaching a pro tools class that knows everything about the software but that doesn’t mean they could engineer or produce anything good. When I was in the music scene playing in bands I remember this one kid he was probably 17 when he opened his studio, he posted pictures of this office space he rented with a bedroom looking studio we’re talking mattresses, lots of cheap stuff, windows software just looked like a joke and he was stupid cheap so I wrote him off. Well like 2 years later his band is doing REALLY good, playing warped tour all the time, touring with bigger names and then they drop another album and I was blown away so I looked into it and he recorded the entire album, mixed and mastered it, I couldn’t believe it no joke it sounded as good if not better then any major releases of that 2010ish metalcore. Then I find out he recorded a bunch of local bands mostly pop punk which sounded amazing. All he really had as far as good equipment was good mics, mic pre’s and everything else was his ability’s from sitting in his room from 10 years old teaching himself. If he was 10 years older he would probably be a big name in production and engineering kinda like an Andrew Wade.
danny rakow doesn’t know shit about music he’s a talentless a&r there’s thousands of em.
What is his business partner full name? I want to find the podcast interview Chris mentioned
